Symptoms
Bring up drivers. USB Function driver bring-up is only required if you support USB Function mode. If you previously implemented a USB Function driver for a USB micro-B connector, describe the appropriate connectors as USB Type-C in the ACPI tables for the USB Function driver to continue working. The device you connected to has new features for USB-C that the cable doesn’t support. The device or dongle isn't connected to the correct USB-C port on your PC (or phone). The device or dongle is using an external hub or dock to connect to your PC (or phone). Too many other Alternate Mode devices or dongles are connected to your PC (or phone). Below, we are sharing the links to USB drivers for most of the popular Android device manufacturers like Samsung, LG, Sony, Google, HTC, Motorola, Dell, etc. These USB drivers are safe to use as they are from their respective manufacturers. All the links are valid and official. We recommend you to download the latest USB drivers.

Assume that you have a computer that equips with an IEEE 1394 FireWire controller card. After you upgrade the computer from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 or Windows 8, devices that connect to the computer by using a FireWire port do not work.

Additional package information
This driver is only intended to work with legacy 1394 host controllers. Therefore, you may experience lower transfer data rates than the 1394b driver.
The driver is intended to resolve compatibility issues for 1394 peripherals on 1394b systems. If you are not experiencing these issues, you should continue to use inbox drivers that are provided in Windows 8.1 or Windows 8.
You have to reinstall this stand-alone driver package if you upgrade to a newer operating system version in the future.

Problems I'm encountering:
1. Arial font disappears every boot-up. Everything that uses an Arial font will be italicized.
2. HDD diagnostic utilities won't work
3. Sometimes, the HDD LED will light continuously, but no signs and sounds of reading from the HDD. After lighting continuously, everything on the monitor will be gone and there will be a BSOD. The computer will restart by itself but will fail to detect IDE drives
